I modified a free theme. There is a link to the original in the footer. I changed a few colors, added the picture in the banner (I took it in Alaska in 2006), and then picked some friendly plug-ins.

Thanks for the info.

Legally I don't think they can block the networks, FOX, and PBS. I'm pretty sure it's a legal requirement that they leave them unencrypted in their basic package.

I have also been able to pick up an ESPN game or two without a cable box or cable card, but it's on random channels and you have to scan for them frequently which is sort of a pain. I'm strongly considering getting a cable box so I can record Discovery, ESPN, etc. My local Comcast office only has the Scientific Atlanta boxes (4250HDC) which I'm not sure if anything is available over the firewire port in the back.

I am a comcast customer with the basic primum package and no cable box. I have a sony hdtv and the cable is connected directly to my tv. I get hdtv programs that are broadcast in hdtv, which in my case are the four networks. Ive been wondering when comcast was going to try to stop people who dont have the cable box from reciving hdtv. I live in Massachusetts.
